Aerospace aluminum sheet, referred to as aviation aluminum plate, is a specially treated aluminum-magnesium alloy plate.

Aerospace aluminum sheet has undergone special treatments such as high-temperature oxidation, allowing it to withstand high temperatures of thousands of degrees or strong impact, and is lightweight and durable, with high strength and anti-corrosion properties.

Aerospace aluminum sheet or Aviation aluminum plates are widely used in the aerospace field, such as aircraft skins, fuselage frames, girders, rotors, propellers, fuel tanks, wall panels and landing gear struts. In addition, it is also used in military equipment, sports equipment, transportation and other fields

7075 aerospace aluminum sheet is one of the strongest alloys commercially available, and its strength is much higher than ordinary aluminum alloys and many other metal materials. Its tensile strength σb (MPa) reaches or exceeds 560, and its elongation stress σp0.2 (MPa) reaches or exceeds 495, making it capable of withstanding high stress and high-intensity application environments.

7075 aluminum alloy (AA7075) is an aluminum alloy with zinc as the primary alloying element. It has excellent mechanical properties and exhibits good ductility, high strength, toughness, and good resistance to fatigue.

It has moderated formability when in the fully soft, annealed temper and can be heat-treated to strength levels that are comparable to many steel alloys. In fact, grade 7075 aerospace aluminum sheet is stronger than many types of mild steel.

7075-T6 aluminum has nearly double the strength-to-weight of grade 2 titanium
