Australia extends time to issue statement of essential facts & final report of AD & CVD measures on China’s aluminum zinc-coated steel

On December 12, 2022, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission announced an extension of the deadline to publish the statement of essential facts, the final report, and recommendations on the anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) measures on aluminum zinc coated steel (≥600mm) from China.

The statement of essential facts will be issued no later than March 20, 2023, and the final recommendation will be made in a report to the Minister for Industry and Science on or before May 4, 2023.

The products involved are flat-rolled products of iron and non-alloy steel of a width equal to or greater than 600mm, plated or coated with aluminum-zinc alloys, not painted whether or not including resin coating, classified under HS codes 7210.61.00.60, 7210.61.00.61, and 7210.61.00.62.
